Tarot is a form of “Interpretive Divination” and/or “Intuitive Divination” which involves a human Oracle or Prophet (a.k.a.: “Reader”) who interacts with the Querent, and the Cards, while directly connecting with the Higher Self, the Unity-Consciousness, or what may also be called the “Divine.”
A Tarot Reader is, and always has been, one who practices looking into this Higher Wisdom for Guidance and is therefore NOT a “fortune teller.”
At times divination may point out what is going to happen in the likely future, but its main concern is to provide Insight and Guidance that helps one create or manifest the desired future.
